Maker has been around for over 4 years now, where it gained a tremendous amount of recognition for being the first protocol to successfully create a decentralized stablecoin, DAI.
Since genesis, MakerDAO has been gradually decentralizing, with the ultimate goal of becoming a community owned and governed protocol.
Today, MakerDAO is composed of a group of “Core Units” that operate in lockstep to maintain, build, and grow the MakerDAO protocol.

🚨 Discord Reboot is Live
The reboot introduces an open framework whereby users, contributors, and supporters of the DAOhaus platform can make decisions around shared initiatives.
Start by assigning yourself one of the four roles in the discord, and level up in the Haus as a Scholar 🧑🏻🏫, Supporter 💎, Contributor 🛠, Summoner 🏡, or come ask questions!

🎊 UberHaus Governance Mining Rewards Complete
UberHaus completed its first Quarter distribution to all the DAOs who participated in governance mining through UberHaus.
If you’re not an UberHaus member and would like to be, check this ‘become a member’ out. Each DAO in UberHaus has a delegate to represent them, delegates are automatically rewarded with 10% of their DAOs Governance Mining Rewards.
If your DAO has what it takes, but does not have the HAUS to join, it can also join UberHaus through a grants process which can be found here.
🛠 Coordinating DAOhaus Circles with Coordinape
DAOhaus is experimenting with Coordinape - the off-chain tool built by yearn.finance.
Each Epoch (1-week), core contributors of DAOhaus circles, (magesmiths, paladins, rangers, alchemists, etc.) are allocated some amount of GiveHaus tokens to be distributed how they see fit.
This welcomes configurable amounts of HAUS to be paid out to contributors distributed on an individual-contributor basis, a subjective approach to valuing contributions.
