Just over 3 months ago we asked: “What happens when you bring together some of the most talented DAO wizards to revamp a platform to summon DAOs?”

We made up an answer, and you, our community and our backers responded quickly and contributed to make it happen.

Today, we’re excited to show you our progress on DAOhaus Version 2 as we solidify our foundations and launch a feedback farm.

🏗 Building Foundations

We are half-way through our roadmap, and to this point we have been working on refining our designs and implementing a revamp of the existing Pokemol dApp. Before we could begin sprucing it up we needed to get the foundations and scaffolding in place for the Haus. This launch is about that scaffolding.

Behold:

First, we’ll give you a rundown of the changes. Then we’ll get into how you can help make the Haus better. (We call it “feedback farming.”)

👹 Pokemol is dead, long live Pokemol

Pocket Moloch: a Moloch in Your Pocket.

It’s still a great solution for interacting with a Moloch DAO, and it’s an open source project, so the code isn’t going anywhere. But, to date DAOhaus has been running a split URL scheme: DAOhaus for exploration, Pokemol for DAO interaction.

With v2 we are unifying everything under the DAOhaus.club domain.

😎 Meet Activity Feed

For the last year our number one user comment has been something like “I miss DAO votes because I don’t know that they are happening.” In DAOhaus v1 we started working with activity feeds and profiles to begin to solve this problem.

With v2, activity feeds have grown up to provide an immersive sense of what’s going on within your DAO. Look for them throughout.

Okay. Let’s take a look at some of the new designs. We’ve got the new hotness (😎) on the top and old and busted (🤮) on the bottom.

👋 Welcome

When you fire up your DAO you’ll see the new main menu, which features easier DAO switching, and cleaner navigation between communities. The new overview page shows you DAO info, important personal info, and the DAO feed.

📜 DAO Proposals

The new proposals design make proposal creation and monitoring quicker and easier.

👩‍🎤 DAO Members

Integrated with 3 Box, our new member’s section gives you a birds eye view of your community.

👾 Member Accounts

Our new member pages features separated token balances, and stats so you know where you stand and what’s going on.

🎨 Themes

Our new DAO Summoning systems allow maximum customization of your DAO experience. Find the combo that fits your community. In case you didn’t catch it above, start here:

Of course, we’ve also redone a bunch of sub screens and everything that goes with a revamp like this. Those are awesome too. We’ve also been working on Discord integrations, notification systems, the scaffolding for our boost and minion systems, fun stuff with NFTs, and more.

Once we launch, we’ll also have something else cool to announce. It’s the next phase in our Proof of Contribution system, we call it Feedback Farming. But you’ll have to stick around to learn about that when v2: foundations goes live. Hint: you can learn a bit get by snooping around our Discord server already.
