Feedback Farming 🚜 With The DAOhaus Foundations Program

Announcing FoundationsDAO, and the low-down on how to jump into the Haus and start "Feedback Farming." 👨‍🌾👨‍🌾👨‍🌾

We launched our DAOhaus v2 alpha. It’s the foundation of the Haus. As we’ve mentioned throughout, that’s not the end of the launches. 🚜 🚀

TLDR: Introducing… Feedback Farming. Whether you are experienced with Pokemol and Moloch DAOs, or have zero DAO experience and the desire to learn, we’re launching a program to have some fun, drop some tokens, and reward you for your feedback on what we’ve been building. 🏗 The Foundations Program and FoundationsDAO

Alongside this foundational release, we’re also launching FoundationsDAO and our Foundations Program… to see if we can build a sustainable Feedback Farm.

The goal of this program is to bootstrap the next phase of our proof of contribution system. Members of FoundationsDAO will be able to “feedback farm” to earn HAUS and other weekly reward drops. Some of these drops will be individual, some will be into the DAO bank to be split up at the end.

As part of the Foundations Program onboard process you’ll be invited to join Foundations DAO. For now we will be capping the number of members at 20. If you are voted into the DAO you will be given DAO shares, which are used to vote on proposals, and also represent your share of the DAO bank.

💸 Seeding the DAO

For each participant who is voted into the DAO, HausDAO will put 100 xDAI into the FoundationsDAO Minion, which will be unlocked at the end of the program on Jan 15th. At this point, participants can exit their shares and take their proportional cut of all the loot, or leave them in the DAO to continue farming as the feedback farming program evolves.

If nothing, this will be an interesting experiment and everybody who completes the program will walk away with $100 and a bunch of other fun stuff.

🧑‍🌾 Feedback Farming

Feedback Farming is all about the humble tractor. Sure, tractors are game changing technology powering the modern farm, but what we really mean is this: 🚜. Feedback farming is all about earning as many 🚜 reactions as possible on the HausDAO Discord server. We will be tracking them and using the tallies to allocate additional DAO shares and other token drops.

The goal is to begin to explore ways to maintain an effective feedback loop between our platform users and HausDAO so we can continue to improve the software. This means the first thing we need to figure out is how to get consistent feedback. You’ll earn 🚜s by providing it, and by taking part in the program.

Only Farmers, Builders, and HausDAO members have the power to award 🚜.

The first wave of feedback farming starts with an onboard journey that everyone goes through regardless of crypto familiarity. This means you don’t have to worry if you feel like you don’t know what you’re doing. This is also because onboarding people to new crypto technology and the power of DAOs is critically important for a community first project and we need to refine this process as well. You will level up to Farmer by completing a set of core tasks devised around using the new DAOhaus platform, and providing HausDAO with feedback. There will also be numerous side quests as opportunities to earn shares faster.
