🗳 More Perfect Proposals
DAOHaus Newsletter, Feb 23, in which we're cleaning up those pesky proposals, talking DAOs of DAOs with Owocki, and finally revealing what we're up to with $HAUS.
DAOhaus v2 live but, as promised last week, we’re going to keep the feature breakdowns coming. This week it’s we’re perfecting our proposals. As usual, here’s your reminder to sign up to get this in your inbox if you want the good stuff a day early. - Kerp

More Perfect Proposals
Proposals are how DAOs get shit done. It’s crucial that they work smoothly, so we’ve devoted a lot of our design focus towards getting this right.
Some proposals have a lot of details and some are straightforward. Our goal is to keep things as simple as possible while still giving proposal-creators all the options they need. Here’s an example of what you’ll see when creating a proposal to request funds:
Notice the core components of a proposal are all right there - the title, description, applicant, token selector, and payment amount. We’ve also added a new option to add a link, which you can use to reference a supporting document or to spice up your proposal with an image or video. And take a look at the Select button in the top right; that will allow you to select a DAO member instead of having to copypasta their 0x address!
To support more complex proposals, we’ve included some other proposal parameters behind the Additional Options menu.
Currently we have a handful of default proposal types, but expect to see more coming your way soon (shoutout to one of the winners of our ETHDenver bounty!).
🎉 Party All the Time
As promised, last week’s Haus Party was deeeep. Kevin Owocki came by for a great chat about what it looks like to have a DAO of DAO and ways to share prosperity among projects, instead of just competing all the time. Check it out 👇
As always, Haus Party Live is open to anyone who wants to join. Watch on YouTube or join the chat on Discord. Check it out this week for a chat with James Young about cross chain and cross project collaboration!

✍️ Holy $HAUS Batman
It’s finally time to start revealing some of our diabolical plans for meta-governance and the $HAUS token. We broke it down a bit on last week’s Haus party, but this is the juicy follow-up with even more details. (Like what $HAUS is actually going to do.)
Check it out! If you dig it, share the tweet 😉 👇
That’s it. Another week inside the Haus! Reminder: sign up. It let’s us know you care 🥺
